specific outbuilding accommodation, mini fridge stocked with fresh milk, tasteful decorations and furnishings
Location signage needs improvement!!! Having trouble finding the hotel is never a good start. the TV was a total letdown, completely unusable due to a poor aerial. Who wants to settle in only to discover they can't watch anything?

Comfortable bed in a charming room.
Stairs to our room were quite steep and narrow.

The accommodations have a charming converted barn vibe that feels unique and inviting. A mini fridge stocked with fresh milk adds a nice touch for tea enthusiasts and really elevates the comfort.
The Double Room we settled into had a large step up into the shower, which posed a challenge for my wife, especially without a stable grip to hold onto. The lack of updates regarding recent flooding issues prior to our arrival was frustrating, as we expected to enjoy the restaurant but ended up looking elsewhere. Noisy residents above us disrupted our sleep, particularly on the second night given the expectation of a peaceful stay.

I checked into Clifden Arms B&B and found the process easy and welcoming. My room was clean, and the little jug of fresh milk for tea was a lovely touch. Wi-Fi had decent speed, which was great for my work needs. Dinner options were limited since the pub had just flooded, so I ventured to the Rising Sun pub nearby. It had excellent food and warm hospitality, which made up for the inconvenience. The corner in the pub turned out to be a good spot to work, even though I missed having a proper workspace in my room. I had a peaceful night's sleep, and breakfast was impressive, though I stuck to my usual coffee and toast. The absence of hand soap in the bathroom was a small oversight but didn’t overshadow the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. a charming stay despite some bumps along the way.

Perfect for a family weekend getaway
We stayed in a lovely converted barn room. The fresh milk in the mini fridge was a nice surprise for our coffee in the morning. The breakfast was a full delight with veggie options so it catered to everyone.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but worth it for the experience.

Charming and Comfortable Stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the wonderfully decorated room, which featured a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk for my tea. The welcoming atmosphere of the pub and the delightful breakfast menu made my mornings special, offering everything from a hearty Full English to lighter options. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring I had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. One area for improvement could be providing more workspace in the room, as I had to find a corner in the pub instead.
